I am a Teacher and an Angler living in South Wales.
During the twenty or so years I have spent fishing around the South Wales beaches, I have had the privilege, and the misfortune, of witnessing many different events, and meeting some weird and interesting characters, that many other people will never have the opportunity to experience.
Although the driving force, the fuel behind this blog, is angling, it is not a blog solely about what I caught and where I caught it. Rather, it records the ways in which all these small, seemingly insignificant instances over the years have given me pause for thought, made me catch my breath or allowed me a moment of reflection.
To take up a fishing rod and step out onto the beach in the dead of night is to enter another world. Hopefully this blog will give some idea of what a fantastic place it is.
